Hi, I'm Ninian.
I'm Ninian Dougall, B.A. (Hons), CIPP/C. That's the Certified Information Privacy Professional credential for Canada.
I started on the privacy side of healthcare, working at Victoria Hospice. There I built the privacy management program, completed six privacy impact assessments, and set up a process for answering freedom-of-information requests.
I also test AI systems for mistakes, made-up answers and data leaks. Both kinds of work lead to the same place. The most useful technology keeps getting built for companies with enterprise budgets, and smaller businesses are left with slow processes and real privacy risk. N-Deavour is my way of changing that.
The name comes from my initials, N.D., and from the idea of endeavouring to do better.
